About Mike
My interest in mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, logic, and problem-solving. I pursued an M.Sc in Pure Mathematics, where I developed deep expertise in theoretical and applied concepts. Over the past 12 years, I have guided students of all levels, helping them overcome challenges, gain confidence, and cultivate analytical skills that extend beyond the classroom.
I believe mathematics should be interactive, exploratory, and connected to real-world applications. Many learners struggle with abstract concepts, so I use step-by-step explanations, visual illustrations, and practical exercises to foster understanding. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, style, and academic objectives, ensuring steady progress and long-term mastery.
Outside teaching, I explore mathematical research, problem-solving challenges, and applications in science and technology. Teaching mathematics is deeply rewarding because I see learners grow in confidence, reasoning, and curiosity. Supporting students as they develop mastery, logical thinking, and enthusiasm for mathematics is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Mathematics is most effective when students understand the “why” behind every concept, formula, and method. My lessons cover arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, and statistics. I focus on fostering conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking, using interactive exercises, visual demonstrations, and real-world applications. For more advanced learners, lessons extend to multivariable calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and mathematical modeling.
