About Serena
My passion for Mathematics grew from a fascination with logical structure and abstract reasoning. I completed a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics, strengthening my analytical depth and theoretical understanding. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students toward clarity and confidence through patient, structured instruction.
I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace and goals. I emphasize understanding before speed, encouraging students to ask questions freely. My approach builds trust in reasoning and reduces anxiety around complex topics.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with mathematical problem-solving and theoretical exploration. These interests enrich my lessons and provide depth. Teaching Mathematics is deeply rewarding because I see learners transform uncertainty into confidence. Supporting their intellectual growth is central to my work.

Advanced learners develop proof thinking, exam strategies, and complex problem breakdown skills. Lessons balance explanation, practice, and reflection to reinforce understanding without pressure.
