About Thea
I am a mathematics tutor with 13 years of experience and a PhD in Mathematics. My journey began with a strong interest in solving problems and understanding patterns. Over time, I developed a passion for teaching and helping students overcome their challenges. I have worked with students at different levels and helped them improve their understanding and confidence. My aim is to make mathematics simple and accessible for everyone.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and structured. I explain concepts step by step and ensure students fully understand before moving forward. I use simple examples and practical methods to make learning easy. I also focus on building problem-solving skills so students can work independently. Creating a supportive environment is very important to me. Students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I provide regular feedback to help them improve consistently.
I continue to learn and update my teaching methods to make lessons effective and engaging. Teaching mathematics gives me great satisfaction because I see students grow and gain confidence. My goal is to help students not only succeed in exams but also develop strong thinking skills. I want every learner to feel confident and capable in mathematics.

My mathematics lessons are designed to make learning simple, clear, and structured. I focus on helping students understand concepts instead of memorising formulas. Topics like algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics are explained step by step using simple methods. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Each lesson is planned to build confidence gradually. Practice is included in every session so students can improve their skills. This helps them understand concepts better and solve problems easily.
I adjust lessons based on the student’s level. Beginners start with basic concepts and simple problem-solving methods. Intermediate students work on improving accuracy and understanding patterns. Advanced learners focus on complex problems, exam strategies, and time management. I provide guided practice and feedback in every lesson. Students are encouraged to explain their thinking, which improves clarity. Regular revision ensures that concepts are remembered.
Mathematics becomes easier when students practice regularly and understand the logic clearly. My goal is to help students feel confident and capable.
