About Dean
My journey in mathematics began with enjoying the satisfaction of solving problems through logical steps. I earned a B.A in Applied Mathematics, which allowed me to explore both theoretical reasoning and real-world mathematical application. Over 7 years of teaching, I have helped students build strong mathematical understanding and achieve academic success through structured guidance.
I believe every student can improve in mathematics with the right support. My teaching style emphasises patience, clarity, and personalised explanation. I enjoy helping learners overcome frustration and develop confidence through steady progress and encouragement. Lessons are designed to make students feel supported, not pressured.
Outside tutoring, I continue exploring mathematics through applied problem-solving, educational resources, and ongoing learning. Teaching maths is fulfilling because I witness students transform from uncertainty into confidence. Helping learners discover their own ability to think clearly and succeed is something I truly value.

Mathematics becomes much easier when students understand that every topic builds logically from clear foundations. In my lessons, I help learners strengthen skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and structured problem solving through patient explanation and consistent practice. My focus is on helping students develop both accuracy and confidence so they can approach questions calmly.
Lessons are tailored to each learner’s needs. Beginners work on core fundamentals such as number fluency, equations, and simple word problems. Intermediate students develop stronger reasoning in functions, graphs, and multi-step algebraic thinking. Advanced learners focus on calculus applications, complex exam questions, proof-style logic, and improving speed without sacrificing understanding. Every session includes guided exercises and supportive feedback.
Maths teaches students discipline, resilience, and clear thinking. Many learners discover that confidence grows quickly once concepts are explained in a way that makes sense to them. My goal is to help students feel capable, supported, and proud of their progress while building skills that benefit them far beyond the classroom.
