About Kathleen
Hi, I’m Kathleen! I’m a postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in Applied Mathematics. I’m originally from South Africa and am currently spending an extended period in the UK. While I’m here, I’d love to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy: helping students gain confidence in mathematics.
I have experience teaching and tutoring mathematics at both school and university level, and I enjoy helping students work through the topics they find most challenging. Whether you need help with homework, exam preparation, assignments, or simply understanding a difficult concept, I’m happy to work at your pace and explain things in a clear, patient, and approachable way.
I offer both online tuition and, where possible, in-person lessons for students in the local area. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals in mathematics!

I hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics and have experience teaching and tutoring mathematics at both school and university level. I offer online tuition, with in-person lessons available where possible for students based nearby. I can help with homework, exam preparation, assignments, or understanding difficult concepts. My aim is to explain mathematics in a clear, patient, and approachable way while helping students build confidence.
