About Nancy
Mathematics tutor with 3 years of experience teaching high school students. Have taught around 150 students, helping many improve problem-solving speed and exam performance. My teaching is logical, practical, and encouraging. I believe math is a skill that improves with practice and the right guidance. I provide practice worksheets, formula booklets, and shortcut notes. My teaching approach for Mathematics is built on pattern recognition and step-by-step methods. I connect every topic to puzzles and real-life situations, so you see math as fun and useful. We break down complex problems into smaller, manageable parts. I encourage you to find multiple ways to solve a problem. Motivation comes from weekly targets and celebrating each solved problem. I give honest feedback and adapt to your learning style. For Mathematics, we cover linear equations, quadratic equations, polynomials, triangles, circles, trigonometric ratios, mean, median, mode, and probability basics. I also teach quick calculation tricks and exam time management. I use examples from everyday life like budgeting, measuring, and games. Sessions include solving problems together, drawing graphs, and discussing shortcuts. I assign homework like solving 10 problems or creating a formula sheet. I keep notes to track progress. I also use flashcards for formulas and mental math drills to improve speed. For geometry, I use animated diagrams to show constructions and transformations. For algebra, I teach systematic methods to avoid common mistakes. I also conduct weekly mock tests to simulate exam conditions and reduce anxiety.
