My teaching approach for Mathematics is focused on calculus of variations and optimization techniques. I begin with functionals and the Euler-Lagrange equation, with derivations and applications in shortest path problems and classical mechanics. I cover variational problems with constraints, including Lagrange multipliers and applications in economics and engineering. I teach optimal control theory, including Pontryagin's maximum principle and applications in control systems. I also cover dynamic programming and applications in decision making and resource allocation. I use real-world examples from physics, economics, and engineering to show practical applications. I provide detailed derivations, solved examples, and practice problems. I assign homework that includes both theoretical derivations and numerical problems. I conduct weekly tests and provide feedback. I maintain a progress log and offer extra help for difficult topics. My goal is to prepare you for advanced courses in physics, economics, and engineering.
