About Kristian

- I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a BSc in Maths and Computer Science and MSc in Data Science - I am currently working as a Junior Data Scientist - I have always been the guy who had to explain maths to his mates before the exam in high school and I realised I like doing that - I was a high school maths teacher for a semester abroad and gained valuable experience - My final year project at the uni was to develop a Traditional Cryptanalysis Learning Tool and I learned about what makes a learning experience effective (see the youtube video)

About the lesson

Everyone has a different way of thinking and hence everyone learns in a different way. When I tutor I find the way that works the best for you and convey the information accordingly. I believe learning can be fun and effective at the same time. I like being creative with my teaching and approach a problem from different angles. Questions are always welcome and stupid questions are allowed with me - we all make mistakes and that is okay. The worst that can happen is we have a good laugh at it and move on ;)

Deadly! Kristian has worked with my son for a good few months to help lift his maths higher grade, he was in the low 30% for his prelim, recently he done a prelim pass paper and had jumped to the high 50%, a great improvement, my son felt relaxed and could easily communicate with Kristian about where he needed help, things where explained in an easy manner and this helped him undersgand. Thanks for your help

Deadly! Deadly! Kristian is a wonderful math teacher! He has a strong background in math and his passion for the subject makes the student enjoy learning even more. He has experience teaching kids and is doing a great job with my son, who looks forward to his lesson each week. Highly recommended!

I love teaching Tara's son Michael, who is a bright and very eager student. We have a good time and laugh during lessons whilst covering the basics of maths. Michael has many questions and is very interested in the topics of mathematics which makes him a wonderful student.
