About Danny
I achieved 613 points in the Leaving Certificate, including a H1 in Higher Level Mathematics. However, my journey wasn’t that straightforward. I actually failed Higher Level Math at the end of 5th year. Turning that around taught me that success in math isn’t about natural talent; it’s about having the right guidance, developing strong problem-solving techniques, and building confidence over time.
That experience is the reason I give grinds. I know how frustrating math can be when it doesn’t click, and I also know how rewarding it can be when the penny drops. My goal is to help students avoid the mistakes I made myself, develop a deeper understanding of the subject, and show them that they are far more capable than they might actually think.

Hi, I’m Daniel and I’m a Leaving Certificate Maths tutor based in Dublin with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Having recently achieved a H1 in Higher Level Leaving Cert Maths, I understand exactly what students need to succeed in the exam. I focus not only on the methods used to answer questions, but also why a method works, so they can tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence.
My lessons are tailored to each students needs through a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I believe that every student can improve alongside the right guidance. Whether you’re just looking to pass or aiming for a H1, I’ll help you build the confidence and skills you need to fulfill your potential.
