About Lucy
Hi! I'm Lucy, and ever since I was in year 5 myself I have wanted to be a teacher! It’s so exciting to me that, 15 years later, I am! I love teaching because I love learning, and I love helping others to learn too, in a caring environment.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting children in maths, as this is my favourite subject, and a subject that frequently causes anxiety. I pride myself on being an inclusive teacher to SEND learners, having learnt first hand from having Tourette’s myself the barriers that we can face!

Customised to the needs of your child. We can follow a scheme of work set by the school, or I can create and adapt lessons for them.
1 hour+ sessions.
I can tutor maths up to year 8 and English up to year 6, or any wider curriculum subject at primary level. I am available to support in home educating your child, too.

I have 2 years experience tutoring a KS2 child in maths, have been a Year 3 teacher for a year, and an LSA for a year before that.
