About Kavish
I am currently studying Maths and Statistics at the University of Warwick. I previously tutored a year nine student for a year in Maths as part of a volunteering scheme in my sixth form. I tutored him once a week. Throughout the year I taught him the ways to approach different styles of maths questions and his marks were increasing throughout the year to the point where he starting achieving 80-90% in exams. Even though he didn't initially enjoy Maths, once he started understanding the content he loved tackling new questions throughout the course.

I am currently studying a Maths and Statistics degree at an undergraduate degree level. I would be giving lessons to A-Level Maths and Further Maths students and to GCSE level Maths students. Having been the first year and the most recent year to sit the new A-Level exams I know exactly what students need to do to prepare in order to achieve the top grade as the structure and technique to answering this paper is very different to the old syllabus. I will first ask the student what topics they are struggling with the most. I will then explain this topic using examples and outline the key facts. I also believe the use of past paper material is essential to achieve the top grade as it ensures the student knows exactly the style of the paper.
