About Sumaya
My passion for Mathematics grew from fascination with patterns, numbers, and the structured way mathematical ideas explain the world. This interest led me to complete a B.Sc in Quantitative Analysis, where I studied algebraic structures, modeling techniques, trigonometry, calculus, and statistical reasoning. For the past 9 years, I have helped students overcome anxiety, build confidence, and develop a practical understanding of Math through supportive and thoughtful instruction. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, calm pacing, and personalized support. I believe every student deserves explanations that fit their learning style, so I adapt lesson plans using diagrams, analogies, or step-by-step reasoning depending on what helps the learner most. I always encourage questions, exploration, and independent thinking so students can build not only skill but also the belief that they can understand any mathematical idea with the right guidance. Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical puzzles, studying new problem-solving techniques, and reading about innovative educational approaches. These experiences help me continually refine my teaching style and bring fresh perspectives into lessons. Seeing students grow into confident, capable thinkers is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Advanced learners explore calculus principles, transformations, advanced algebra, and exam-style reasoning. Every session includes guided examples, personal feedback, and structured correction to build confidence, accuracy, and understanding.
