About Mira
My interest in Mathematics began when I realized how beautifully it explains patterns, relationships, and structures in the world around us. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I gained deeper insight into mathematical modeling, advanced calculus, and analytical systems. Over 9 years of teaching, I’ve developed a warm and supportive approach designed to help students overcome anxiety and discover genuine appreciation for the subject. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore different ways of understanding a problem. My explanations adapt to each learner’s needs—sometimes using visual diagrams, sometimes using real-life analogies, and other times guiding them through each step of a complex solution. My goal is always to build confidence and help students grow into independent thinkers. Outside teaching, I enjoy studying mathematical puzzles, exploring data analysis, and reading about new breakthroughs in mathematics and related sciences. Incorporating these interests into my lessons keeps them inspiring and relevant. Seeing students progress from uncertainty to clarity is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Mathematics becomes far more approachable when students are guided to understand ideas step by step rather than memorize procedures. In my lessons, I focus on building clarity in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and reasoning skills by using structured explanations that gently guide learners into seeing how concepts connect. I emphasize intuitive understanding first, followed by confident application, helping students gradually develop both accuracy and deeper comprehension. With this method, Maths becomes less intimidating and more empowering.
Each lesson adjusts to the learner’s level and comfort. Beginners receive calm guidance with foundational topics such as number operations, simple equations, basic graphs, and logical patterns. Intermediate students explore multi-step algebra, coordinate geometry, function analysis, and structured problem-solving. Advanced learners work through calculus concepts, limits, differentiation, integration, optimization, and exam-style analytical reasoning. I consistently encourage thoughtful questioning and support each student in understanding their own reasoning process.
Maths lessons help students grow in analytical thinking, patience, and self-belief. As they begin to see patterns and understand the logic behind methods, their confidence expands. My goal is to ensure students feel capable of solving problems calmly and independently, reinforcing the idea that mathematical thinking is a skill anyone can build with structured guidance.
