About Ritu

Hi, I'm Ritu! I hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics and Computing from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, and I secured AIR 540 in IIT JAM Mathematics (Top 4% among 13,333 candidates) — so Math has always been a subject I'm genuinely passionate about, not just good at.
I started teaching Class 10-12 students during my graduation days, almost 3 years ago now, and I've stuck with it ever since because I love that moment when a student finally "gets" a concept they were stuck on. Alongside teaching, I also work as a Backend Developer, building real-world production systems — APIs, databases, cloud deployments — which is why I'm equally comfortable teaching Computer Science, programming, and even newer areas like cloud computing (AWS).
I'm someone who believes learning never really stops — I'm constantly picking up new technologies and skills myself, and I bring that same curiosity into how I teach. Whether it's a board exam student who needs their basics cleared, or someone who wants to go deeper into programming and tech, I genuinely enjoy adapting my teaching style to what each student actually needs.
Outside of teaching and coding, I've solved 1500+ DSA problems just for the love of problem-solving, and I'm someone who believes in patience over pressure — both for myself and for my students. My aim isn't just to help you pass an exam, but to help you build real confidence in the subject.

About the lesson

I teach Mathematics (Class 10-12, board + competitive exam prep) and Computer Science / Programming — covering programming fundamentals, Data Structures & Algorithms, web development, and cloud technologies like AWS — tailored to where the student currently stands and what they're aiming for.
For Mathematics, I focus on building strong fundamentals first — Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry — before moving into advanced problem-solving. My own AIR 540 in IIT JAM Mathematics came from exactly this approach: clear concepts + consistent practice, not shortcuts.
For Computer Science, I teach programming languages, Data Structures & Algorithms, web development basics, and growing areas like cloud computing (AWS) and backend development. I've personally solved 1500+ DSA problems and currently work as a Backend Developer building production systems, so I bring real-world coding practices into my teaching, not just theory. I'm also continuously learning new technologies myself, which means I can guide students through current, in-demand skills — not just a fixed syllabus.
Each class is structured around:

- A quick recap of the previous topic

- New concept explained with simple, relatable examples

- Practice problems solved together

- Homework/practice set for reinforcement

- Doubt-clearing at the start of every session
Classes can be one-on-one or in small groups, and I adjust pace based on whether the student needs extra support or wants to move faster toward advanced topics. Whether it's Maths, core programming, or newer tech like cloud computing, my goal is to make sure the student actually understands the subject well enough to apply it confidently — not just memorize it.
