About Jide
Hello, my name is Jide and I want to provide students with a real opportunity to succeed in their Mathematical studies.
The key to success is through learning a range of techniques to solve a problem and putting them into practice. Consistency will breed confidence and a true understanding of the world of numbers.
I will explain the various concepts clearly and in different ways in order to ensure that things are understood. I will pay attention to any potential gaps in knowledge and address these duly.
I currently work as a Reserving Actuary for a Lloyds Syndicate in London. I deal with numbers everyday and communicate complex points to a range of audiences. I am also friendly and engaging.
Mathematics has been an integral part of my journey. My passion for the subject thrives as it has facilitated my growth. It has extended my abilities to; analyse data, build creative solutions to problems, and develop an appetite for a real challenge.
My fascination in Mathematics guided me into me to completing a 3-year degree in it. The prospect of sharing my perspective and experience with students in their own journey compels me deeply.
I pride myself on being able to build relationships with a diverse range of people, whilst attending to each of their specific needs successfully in a friendly and professional manner.

These will either be focused on specific areas required or cover topics in the syllabus being studied. Since the bottom line in most cases are the final exams, I like to lead with exam style questions which help me understand a student's strengths and weaknesses. From there I will develop exercises to address any gaps and ensure exam style questions can be answered confidently. Ultimately the goal is to develop a students mathematical thinking towards solving complex problems.

Jide, is an outstanding math tutor who expertly guided me through my GCSE and further maths modules. He has the ability to simplify complex and abstract concepts and offer straightforward solutions.
