About Malia
I have 6 years of experience teaching maths, supported by a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Master’s in Applied Statistics. My journey began with a strong interest in numbers and patterns. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their understanding and confidence.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and structured. I break down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand easily. I also provide regular practice and feedback to support improvement. Building confidence is a key part of my teaching.
Outside of teaching, I continue exploring mathematical problems and learning new techniques. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Teaching maths is meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to clarity. Helping them succeed is very rewarding.

My maths lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly and solve problems step by step. I begin with basic topics like arithmetic and algebra, explaining each concept in a simple and logical way. I break problems into smaller steps so students can follow easily. I also use examples to show how maths can be applied in real-life situations. Each lesson is structured and easy to follow.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced topics and problem-solving methods. We practise regularly to improve speed, accuracy, and understanding. I guide students in different ways to solve problems and help them learn from mistakes. Lessons are always adjusted based on the student’s level and learning pace so they can progress steadily.
My goal is to help students feel confident and comfortable with maths. I support them in building strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Over time, students begin to enjoy maths and perform better in their studies. I create a supportive environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and grow with confidence and independence.
