About Rimi
I have twelve years of experience teaching Math to students of diverse ages and academic levels. In my lessons, I naturally integrate elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, and SAT math to provide a rich and layered learning experience. I begin with core topics such as arithmetic operations, fractions, ratios, decimals, and number sense, using step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and interactive exercises to help learners build confidence while strengthening foundational skills.
As students progress, lessons advance to include algebraic expressions, linear and quadratic equations, geometric problem-solving, word problems, and SAT-specific strategies. I emphasize logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and the ability to approach unfamiliar problems methodically. By combining topics across different levels, students learn to recognize patterns, develop flexible problem-solving strategies, and make connections that enhance understanding and retention.
Advanced sessions focus on multi-step problem-solving, integrated concepts, and exam preparation. Students refine their skills in approaching complex questions, managing time effectively, and applying multiple areas of mathematics simultaneously. My goal is to create a structured and supportive environment where learners develop mastery, resilience, and an appreciation for the logic and beauty of mathematics.
