About Fred
I am a motivated and enthusiastic math student with a strong interest in problem solving and logical thinking. I have consistently performed at a high level in mathematics, including achieving a top 10% result in the AMC 8, which has helped me develop clear and effective strategies for tackling challenging questions.
I enjoy helping others understand math in a way that feels approachable and confidence-building rather than intimidating. Having recently gone through the same learning stages as many students, I can explain concepts in a relatable and supportive way. My goal is to help students feel more confident in math, improve their results, and develop strong foundational skills they can use long-term.

My lessons are designed to help primary and junior high school students build confidence in mathematics. I focus on explaining concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand way, helping students with topics such as arithmetic, fractions, percentages, algebra, geometry, and homework support.
Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and learning pace. We will work through examples together, practice problem-solving techniques, and review any schoolwork that students find challenging. My goal is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their mathematical skills.
A typical lesson may include:
• Reviewing previous topics and homework
• Learning and practicing new concepts
• Working through example questions step-by-step
• Solving practice problems independently
• Discussing strategies for tests and assignments
