About Mariam
Hi! I’m a McMaster Science student going into my third year of the Honors Life Sciences program, with a minor in Statistics and Biochemistry.
I have experience working as a summer nanny/tutor, where I supported children with their academics and daily routines, helping build their confidence and independence while also being able to foster a friendship and mentor role with them. I also tutor through Nankind, working with students whose families are affected by cancer. These experiences have taught me how to adapt my teaching to meet each student’s unique needs with patience and understanding.
Outside of academics, I enjoy painting, running, and exploring new cafés with friends, which helps me stay motivated and balanced.
