About Paulina
My name is Paulina, and I am a medical doctor with an M.B.B.S. degree from the University of London - St. George's Hospital Medical School, and a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of California - Riverside.
I have a general passion for teaching, often found teaching medical students while on the ward floor. I have previously tutored in topics including but not limited to: Biology, Maths, English, English as a Second Language, Medicine (pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, clinical sciences), and general standardised test tutoring.
On a personal level, I have experience tutoring my own siblings, friends, and family, and teaching family members English as a Second Language as a bilingual person myself. I also taught piano for over 5 years.
I have given clinical lectures to and arranged mock examinations for medical students. I also have experience tutoring for exams such as the USMLE (Steps 1 and 2) and MCAT for those with international aspirations.

I have tutoring and teaching experience with students of all ages, ranging anywhere between elementary/primary school students and university/medical school students. I am very patient and work with every individual student's needs. I am flexible, and also have experience working with neurodivergent students. I am understanding, and work to build students' confidence as they learn.
