About Shekoofeh
Hi! I’m a medical doctor and current Master of Public Health student at Nottingham Trent University. I teach Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, and General Science at A-Level and GCSE levels. My goal is to make science clear, interesting, and enjoyable. I know how challenging these subjects can feel, so I focus on explaining complex ideas in simple, engaging ways and linking them to real-life medical and health examples. I’m patient, supportive, and genuinely passionate about helping students build confidence and see their own progress. Whether you’re preparing for exams or just trying to understand science better, I’ll guide you step by step and tailor each lesson to your learning style. My Approach to Tutoring As a medical doctor with a strong background in biology, chemistry, and public health, I focus on helping students truly understand scientific concepts rather than memorise them. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s learning style, using real-life medical and biological examples to make topics engaging and easier to grasp. Lesson Structure A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, during which I combine clear explanations, visual aids, and exam-style practice questions to strengthen understanding and boost confidence. Qualifications and Experience I hold an M.D. in Medicine and am currently completing a Master of Public Health at Nottingham Trent University. I have several years of teaching experience, including tutoring biology to secondary students and mentoring medical peers in aesthetic medicine. My academic and professional background allows me to connect scientific theory with practical application. Who My Lessons Are For I teach A-Level and GCSE students, as well as adult learners who wish to improve their understanding of science subjects or prepare for medical-related studies.
