About Sebastian
I have degree in Genetics and are currently a in the Clinical school of Medicine. I haven't had any students yet but have experience working in Biology labs as I have done two research placements in the Department of Genetics. Therefore, I will be able to provide a lot of practical application to the topics covered.

I'm a graduate in Genetics from the University of Cambridge and I should be able to teach A-level students. I have not taught any students before, but it is important to understand the key concepts in each topic as it makes the information easier to retain and helps with applying the knowledge and answering questions. At the same time I will work closely with the mark scheme to ensure that the student learns the relevant information and during question practice the required information is within the answer. During my time at University I have learnt the importance of writing essays for practice (it both consolidates the knowledge and develops writing skills). Thus, I'll try to get my studets to write longer answers to the question and try to put them in context so that they have some experience of what University style writing is like, something that I wish I had a chance to learn during my A-levels.

Deadly! Biology IGCSE for my son who really enjoyed Sebastian's lessons and although not his favourite subject, has been really motivated since having Sebastian to help him.
Sebastian was really helpful and generous with his time, set lots of papers and although he has a lot of his own university work, tried very hard to fit in so that my son could have extra lessons nearer the exam.
