About Delbert
If you are a committed and mature applicant with a genuine interest in medicine and have life/professional experience beyond just academics, I may be interested in working with you. I do this because I myself was a mature applicant who stumbled into medicine haphazardly at 27, and want to help others who may be in similar shoes. Oh, and I am also looking for some side income to pay off my student loans :)

I am a medical student hoping to find 1-2 mentees per admissions cycle to help with their admissions, interviews, and/or MCAT.
I’m looking for students who are ideally in their late 20s or older who are new to the process and demonstrate a genuine commitment and passion for medicine and lifelong learning. Please do not contact me if you do not fit one or more of these criteria. My availability is limited because I know that quality mentorship takes time and I want to do it right.
My qualifications include: taking the MCAT three times over 7 years and scoring 516, 521, and 526, including a tried and true method improving my CARS from 125 to 132; teaching MCAT courses for one of the largest test prep companies, and also for subsidized University Outreach Programs; interviewing at multiple medical schools; coaching 3 students through their MMIs in the 2024 cycle.
