About Amanda
I am currently a medical student at Imperial College London. I have been tutoring my peers since the sixth grade through to final year exams, 6-8 year olds in mathematics throughout my school years, and taught a student IB biology for her final year exams where she received a 5 (previous prediction was a 3) out of 7.
I went to international schools around the world and I've learned to adapt to different teaching methods and curricula. I was a mentor for a friend with cerebral palsy for a few years. I coached children between the ages of 6-13 in sports (football and basketball) throughout high school. I've been able to pass on my guidance to a couple students who are currently applying to medical schools around the UK as well.

I am an international student that is half Romanian/half Australian that grew up in Ukraine and Dubai. I am willing to teach any and all students of any ages!
I do try to focus on the bigger picture of things to help stabilize an idea, and then once the picture is understood and easily repeated, I like going into smaller details that might be fascinating and might help understand the topic more (the why's of science).
I understand that everyone learns at a different pace and in different ways, and I am hoping to find a way that works best for my students to help them in future years.
