About Roxanne
I am a medical student studying Medicine and Surgery in English in Italy and an experienced international tutor specializing in science and mathematics.
I have experience preparing students for demanding international examinations, particularly the IB. My students have achieved excellent results in Chemistry and Mathematics, and my teaching is strongly focused on exam technique, understanding and consistent practice.
I have access to extensive past-paper and examination resources and prepare structured presentations and personalized materials for my students. From the first lesson, we work according to an individual plan rather than following a generic program.
I speak four languages — English, Polish, German and Italian — and have studied internationally from a young age. This allows me to work comfortably with students from different countries and educational systems.
My approach is ambitious but supportive. I eliminate negative thinking from my lessons: instead of “I can’t do this”, we find out WHY you cannot do it yet — and fix it.
My goal is not simply to help you pass. I want you to walk into your exam knowing exactly what you are doing and why.

My lessons are for students who want to UNDERSTAND Chemistry and Mathematics instead of memorizing formulas and hoping for the best on exam day.
I teach Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics and Trigonometry, adapting every lesson to the student’s level, curriculum and goals.
From our first lesson, I identify your strengths and weaknesses and create an individual study plan. We work step-by-step using my own structured presentations, question banks, past-paper questions, calculator techniques and exam-style problems.
In Chemistry, we can cover atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, energetics, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, redox, organic chemistry and more.
In Mathematics, I teach algebra, functions, equations, sequences, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, financial mathematics, differentiation, integration and mathematical modeling.
I also teach efficient calculator methods where appropriate — not simply which buttons to press, but how to recognize the type of problem and choose the correct method under exam pressure.
There is no “I can’t”, “I don’t know” or “I’m bad at math” in my lessons. We identify exactly where the difficulty begins, rebuild the foundation and practice until you can solve the problem independently and confidently.
