About David
Hi! My name is David and I’m a medical student who loves math and enjoys helping students make sense of things that once felt confusing. I want to teach because it’s incredibly rewarding to see a student gain confidence and really understand a topic.
I know every student learns differently, so I focus on being patient, approachable, and supportive, giving guidance without pressure. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy the gym, sports, music, and photography. I tutor Years 7–12 Math, helping students of all abilities feel capable, confident, and supported.

I focus on helping students genuinely understand maths rather than memorising steps. I break concepts down simply and adjust my explanations to match how each student learns.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, starting with problem areas, followed by guided examples and independent practice to build confidence. I encourage students to think through problems rather than rely on answers, so they become more independent over time.
As a medical student, I have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with experience supporting peers. My tutoring is suited for Years 7–12 students, whether they need extra support, clearer explanations, or want to improve their results.
