About Geoffrey Grace
I am an aspiring cardiothoracic surgeon and throughout my education I have learned that we all have potential to excel.
I did not do well in my senior 4 exams for so many reasons among which was pressure to cope with the top performing students. That did not stop me from pursuing advanced level biology and chemistry because it was then when I realized that as a student you have to build your own momentum. You do not need to compete to be the best you have to build a solid knowledge base (a pool of knowledge) that can not only make you the best competitively but also an ocean of knowledge. "THE BEST STUDENT IN EXAM MIGHT NOT BE THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE BUT THE BEST AT TAKING AN EXAM"
My goal while tutoring is to make my students both.

My approach is to break down complex topics through schematic diagrams, detailed illustration that are simple enough to remember and review tests to boost confidence and find gaps in knowledge acquisition from the lesson. I coined this from my own experience in high school, medical school and student feedback from my tutorship coaching programs. Therefore I strongly believe it's easier to remember and comprehend diagrams than paragraphs. I tutor students in high school (biology and chemistry) and medical students in year 1 and 2.
