About Amira
I'm a fourth-year medical student with an interest in chemistry. I have been tutoring 5 students for 3 years and all the pupils have excelled in their exams, having nailed down their exam techniques. I have found that most of the time the problem lies with difficulty performing under exam conditions. This is not something emphasised by teachers at schools, who have to focus solely on the content of the syllabus. I offer an approach to teaching with equal focus on content and practice. I will adapt my teaching to fit the individual needs of a student and assist them in their areas of interest.

My methods include creating a list of the topics a student wants to go over. The lessons will essentially be tailored to the needs of the student but often involve delivering content in a variety of different styles and approaches, explaining concepts, answering questions, and doing past paper practise to mimic upcoming exams. I provide Science, Maths, and English lessons to GCSE students and Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-Level.
