About Avana
I am a medical student who has been tutoring for several years. I’ve topped my year in my GCCEs scoring 96% in Bio specifically and Have a 43/45 in my IB diploma. I’ve been awarded national prizes for biology, am a school scholar and conducted research in top institutes.

My teaching method is understanding the pace of each student and the type of method they use to study and match my teaching to the appropriate. My steps usually include interesting visuals to secure a good fundamental platform for understanding. I then give a copy of comprehensive notes so students can go through what we learnt at any time. I finally give homework and worksheets so the concepts are properly secured in their mind. It’s fullproof !

The best! She taught me and I was thoroughly impressed with the detailed and organized notes and explanations Avana gave me. With using her resources and scheduling I was able to raise my 5 to a 6 (ib)! I would say you should at least try her once, but believe me you'll love her.
Avana was super patient all throughout. She was really good at explaining different biological concepts and helped me memorise them so that I was well prepared for my exam. I’ve already recommended her to my friends.
She is one of the most thorough tutors I have ever encountered, explaining things in full and answering any questions. 5 stars.
