About Haaris
I am a medical student at Barts and The London and completing my A-levels I received 3 As in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Furthermore, on completing the UCAT I received 2830, band 2. As well as this, I received 9s in English language and literature, German, Maths and Biology with 8s in Chemistry, Physics, Computing, R.E, Business, Further Maths and History at GCSE.
I really want all of my students to reach their full potential. Having been told myself that I would not be able to go to medical school as I would not get the grades, I want every student to be able to reach their academic goals and do the best they can.
Having taught in classrooms for 2 years during my time in sixth form, I understand how much someone can improve through 1 on 1 teaching. Having seen improvement in previous students I want to be able to replicate that and motivate as well as teach others into getting the grades they want.

Having received and also given tutoring lessons I understand just how important it is to get the lessons right to allow for optimal learning and understand of the subject being taught.
I am a medical student at Barts and The London and completing my A-levels I received 3 As in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Furthermore, on completing the UCAT I received 2830, band 2. As well as this, I received 9s in English language and literature, German, Maths and Biology with 8s in Chemistry, Physics, Computing, R.E, Business, Further Maths and History at GCSE.
I have taught and assisted previously in the classroom during my time in sixth form in both biology and maths. This has given me valuable insight into the way in which lessons are best laid out and the most effective ways of teaching students. It has really taught me to understand the best way for students to understand the knowledge whilst also allowing me to gauge how much I believe they’ve taken from my lessons.
I am able to teach Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-level and below. As well as this, I am able to provide UCAT prep. Furthermore I am also able to teach English at GCSE level and below.
I aim to teach my lessons in a clear and effective way with learning objectives being given at the start of the lesson and having them completed by the end. Not only will the lessons be structured comprehensively , but the content of the lesson will be tested at the end with small quizzes that aim to solidify the students knowledge and understanding of the lesson provided. The lessons will normally be an hour but may run 5-10 minutes longer.
