About Adeela

I am a dedicated and approachable medical student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students reach their full potential. I teach Biology and Reading to students from Kindergarten through to university level.

My medical studies including previous degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University have given me a strong foundation in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology and other life sciences, while also developing my ability to understand and explain complex topics in a clear and straightforward way. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual's needs, level and learning goals.

Whether you are looking to build confidence with the basics, improve your reading skills, prepare for exams, or deepen your understanding of Biology, I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and easy to understand.

My goal is not simply to help students memorize information, but to help them understand concepts, develop effective study skills and become more confident independent learners.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Adeela, a medical student with experience tutoring and mentoring students in reading, writing, academic skills and medical/science subjects.

I have worked one-to-one with young people to improve their reading comprehension and writing skills, and I have mentored Year 11–12 students with research, essay writing, structure and critical thinking. I have also supported students preparing for university and medical school interviews.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and personalized. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to your individual needs and goals.

Whether you are struggling with a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, improving your academic writing, or simply looking to build your confidence, I will work with you step-by-step to help you succeed.
