About Imogen
Hello!! I'm Imogen and I'm a medical student who is very passionate about sharing my love of science with other students.
With my degree, I have to take a lot of exams and constantly revising material so I feel I would be an excellent person for guidance regarding exams and exam technique (a vital part of getting those grades). Also, a lot of my current course has a lot of overlap with the sciences (especially Biology and Chemistry) so I have a very good knowledge of what I would be teaching.
Each session will be tailored to you and your needs - or even if you just want a chat about the topic!

I am a firm believer in interactive lessons and I would mix up the teaching style with every lesson to keep it engaging, always ending and consolidating their knowledge with exam questions. This would also incorporate a degree of flexibility as I would ask the student before hand if they had any goals in mind for the sessions and I would tailor the time to their needs.
Lessons would include powerpoint presentations, quick Q&As, practice exam questions, learning objectives, exam technique and style and signposting to further resources. As a student, this really benefitted me and I know what works and what doesn't in terms of revision to get the top grades.
A typical lesson would be around an hour and I would teach students at either GCSE (age 15-16) or A-level (17-18)
I am a 3rd year medical student so my knowledge regarding the sciences like biology and chemistry is extensive and at a high level. I also received top grades when studying these subjects myself, which wasn't too long ago.
