About Alonzo
I am a current medical student and a first-year public health graduate student. Though my passions are within medicine and public health, I also have a deep passion for teaching and education. I hope to use this experience as a way to strengthen my abilty to connect with students at all levels and assist them in their learning journeys.

In my time at UT Austin, I learned many lessons on how to enforce collaboration and patients in my teaching skills. I like to first understand a students ability when we first meet and adjust my lesson plan to their strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, they are not only getting empathetic teaching but also effective lesson plans while under my care.
