I have previously tutored GCSE and AS students in the sciences and have held informal teaching sessions in physiology and pathophysiology for younger medical students.

I start my teaching sessions with a presentation on the material to be covered including a discussion regarding the learning objectives. Throughout this I will ask students questions on the learning objective just covered. Towards the end of the session I will use questions on the session as a whole and then summarise the key points.
I try to make my teaching as interactive as possible and (try to!) foster a humoured and casual atmosphere to augment this.
