About Millie
I have just finished my first year at the University of Bristol, studying medicine to become a doctor.
I attended a grammar school for 7 years.
All A/A* GCSE results including: A* Biology, A* Chemistry, A* Physics
A-Levels: A Biology, A Chemistry, A* Psychology
I have tutored in high-school, in Biology GCSE and also Psychology and Religious Education, showing that I can adapt what I am teaching to suit the student. All these students achieved As and A*s.
I have also been a Gold Duke of Edinburgh leader, Sports Leader and Peer Mentor.

I am a flexible yet organised tutor. I like to have a clear structure in my lessons, with a chosen topic each session, but I will adapt my teaching method based on the student's needs.
I am calm, patient and will go over things as many times as a student needs, using a variety of methods to help understanding.
I learn through understanding, not by memorising, and so this is the methodology I would pass on to my students, so that they can have long-term understanding and hence memory of the topic to achieve the best grades.
As a medical student I have clear communication, including the ability to speak and listen effectively.
I believe that if you work hard you can achieve anything, and would like to inspire this confidence in my students through shared perseverance and determination to succeed and learn.
