About Vaibhavi
Throughout all of my schooling, I had a love for science, especially biology; the complexity and depth of the subject, though difficult to study at times, is extremely rewarding - and for me, gives a sense of awe. Along with the sciences, I enjoyed the subject of English, understanding the importance of articulating your ideas and thoughts, as well as its practical importance in exam technique. I hope to make studying biology enjoyable for you, and help you master your articulation, and thus, your exam technique. After completing a year abroad doing medical work experience and writing a research article, I am taking my place at the University of Birmingham to study Medicine, a subject that allows me to further my interest in science as well as help people on a personal level. During my application cycle, I also received offers from the University of Manchester, King's College London, and the University of East Anglia, as well as an interview from the University of Leicester. I achieved the grades of A*A*A in Biology, Philosophy, and Chemistry at A level. And at GCSE, nine 9 grades and one 8 grade, with all sciences being a 9 grade.

. Personalised sessions - in our first lesson we can understand what is your preferred learning style and what areas you need support in. . In my lessons I have a focus on active recall, and using the content we cover in exam question contexts. In our sessions we will use diagrams and annotations, as well as exam/practice questions with their appropriate mark schemes. . Weekly 1-2 hour sessions on an online platform (Zoom) at afternoon/evening times on weekdays (If you wish to take more lessons in the week then we can discuss availability) . Tutoring that focuses both on covering content to strengthen your understanding; and regularly doing question practice to improve your exam technique . I believe that many times what students need is another perspective on their subject - I aim to understand your perspective, your learning styles and weaknesses, and show you a new approach to your studies that is specific to you. Using my own experience of these exams and content, I hope to support you with my own lived advice . I aim for our lessons to be relaxed but productive - I’m not a strict tutor and my biggest aim is to build your motivation in this subject, not to make our sessions tedious :) . As I am a student, I have my university term times, though I can work with the secondary school schedule. I will do all I can to be flexible to your availability
