About Anishka

Hi, I'm Anishka!

I'm a first-year medical student at the University of Melbourne and Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) graduate. After increasing my GAMSAT S2 score from a 59 to a 77 and receiving first round medical school offers from the University of Melbourne, Sydney University and Flinders University, I would really love to help students who also want to pursue a career in medicine!

I'm really passionate about teaching and strongly believe in the importance of tailoring lesson plans to the learning style of each student.

About the lesson

MEDICAL SCHOOL INTERVIEW COACHING - MMI OR PANEL

I have completed both MMI and panel interviews, so I understand how daunting interview preparation can feel. I have developed interview strategies and diverse resources which will help you gain the confidence to succeed at your own interviews!

We will begin with an introductory session where I will outline the interview format, strategies, online resources and interview tips and tricks.

Subsequent coaching sessions will involve mock interview stations, with each session concentrating on a specific station type. I will provide detailed feedback on your mock interview answers which will ensure that you are prepared once interview season comes around.

GAMSAT S2 PROGRAM

We'll start with an introductory session which will give me the opportunity to gauge your skills, strengths and weaknesses. Together, we will build an individualised detailed strategy that works for you.

In subsequent lessons, I will provide you with an outline of exam strategies, study schedules, tips and tricks, review your marked essays (see below) and explore potential essay themes. I will also provide you with resources (my own marked essays, resources and many more) which were instrumental to my S2 success. I will assign homework after each coaching session to ensure that your learning is as efficient as possible.

ESSAY MARKING SERVICE ($20 for the first essay, $15 for subsequent essays)

Alongside my GAMSAT S2 Program, I also recommend my essay marking service. I am happy to provide you with essay prompts/ quotes and you can email me your essays once completed. I will annotate your essays in detail in which I will identify which areas you struggle in and excel at and how to further improve your essay writing.
