About Ibrahim
Hi,
my name is Ibrahim and I am currently a MbChb Medicine Student .
At A levels I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and History at Sixth Form.
At GCSE I achieved (concealed information), with the 9s in history and English language.
I really enjoy teaching and helping students especially by showing them the techniques and tips that I used myself.
I know from experience that these techniques work and so they will allow my students to achieve the highest grades they can.
I also have experience with various entry exams such as the UCAT
I can also provide interview help for medicine as I was invited to 4/4 medicine interviews.
In the past I have also worked with children with specials needs and so I have a lot of patience when teaching and can adapt my teaching style to suit you.
I also know myself the struggles of tutors who feel that their way of understanding is the only way.
Therefore my lessons are relaxed with a focus on understanding any content before committing it to memory or applying it in exam style questions.
But if needed I can increase the pace of lessons such as during or near exam season if you need to get a lot done.

In structuring and delivering my sessions, I prioritize a clear and organized approach to make learning both accessible and engaging. My sessions typically start with an overview of objectives to set the stage and create focus. I tailor each session to match students' individual goals, pacing, and backgrounds, using a blend of theory and practical application. Engaging students through interactive questions, problem-solving exercises, and real-life examples ensures they grasp concepts fully and see the relevance to their field.
To help students achieve their goals, I employ active learning techniques, encouraging critical thinking and in-depth discussions. Regular reviews and formative assessments track their progress, highlighting areas needing reinforcement. I also offer constructive feedback, fostering self-reflection to deepen understanding and build confidence.
Measuring progress involves a mix of quizzes, assignments, and one-on-one feedback sessions. I believe it’s essential to celebrate small wins and maintain a growth-oriented mindset, as this encourages perseverance and a love for learning. I adapt to students' evolving needs to ensure that they stay motivated, engaged, and on a steady path to achieving their goals.
I also use a variety of technologies such as an ipad or computer and software to tailor learning to the students needs.
