About Alexander
I absolutely love the human body! There is honestly nothing quite as fascinating as the subtle complexities and intricacies that make up our bodies. Although the blueprint for the body is the same amongst everybody, it is mind-blowing how different each of our bodies is from one another.
I have spent several years studying the cellular biology of the body, and have worked in a cadaver lab for a couple of months. I passed my anatomy class in college with an A in the cadaver lab, and an A- in the lecture portion of the class.
I want to help you learn to love the body as much as I do; It really is the coolest thing!

I find that anatomy is a very interesting subject to teach people because most students struggle to memorize so much information so fast.
My approach to teaching anatomy is thus very personalized to the student and what they are currently struggling with. I like to help students create mnemonics that will help them better memorize the material. I also think that visualizing what you are learning about is a huge aspect of memorization and retention, especially in anatomy. I don't want students to JUST memorize the material, I want to help them learn it. I find the best way to do this is through examples of things that can be physically observed.
I am comfortable teaching anatomy anywhere up to a first-year, college-level anatomy class.
