About Rory
I am an experienced Excel tutor with 10 years of teaching High School and College students. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 150 students, helping them build strong skills and confidence in Excel. I enjoy making learning simple, practical, and useful for real-life situations.
My teaching philosophy is based on clear understanding and hands-on practice. I believe students learn best when they actively use what they study. I use real examples, simple explanations, and step-by-step guidance in every session. I focus on important topics like formulae, functions, data analysis, pivot tables, and data visualisation. This helps students not only learn Excel but also apply it in academics and future jobs.
I am patient, supportive, and flexible with different learning styles. I motivate students to improve and solve problems on their own with guidance. I also help with assignments, projects, and job preparation. Many of my students have improved their performance and gained confidence in using Excel. My goal is to make every student comfortable and skilled in Excel for long-term success.

This helps students understand how Excel is used in studies and jobs.

I encourage logical thinking and help students develop strong problem-solving skills. I also support learning related tools like PowerPoint, Word, and basic data handling techniques.
I stay flexible with each student’s pace and learning style. I motivate them to keep improving and practising regularly. I maintain honesty and clarity in my teaching so students always know where they stand. I also help with assignments, projects, and job preparation. My goal is to make students comfortable and skilled in using Excel for academic and professional success.
