About Robin
I am a Molecular Biology Scientist with over 30 years of experience in both academia and industry. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Genetics and a Doctorate in Cell and Molecular Biology. I have trained and mentored dozens of students in class and in the lab from 7th grade, and all the way to graduate level biology.

I have over 35 years of experience as a biology scientist in both academia and industry. I have trained dozens of students from 7h grade elementary to university graduate level biology. My goal for teaching my students, is helping them understand and establish fundamental principles in biology and then have a student apply that knowledge and understanding in tackling biological questions. My approach is to assess the student's current understanding and then build upon that knowledge. I like to challenge students by asking questions to determine their understanding. And I welcome students to ask questions so I can clarify any points. It is important that we set our expectations and how we communicate early in the educational process to avoid any misunderstandings. I have a Bachelors of Science in Genetics and a Doctorate in Cell and Molecular Biology. Much of my study is in understanding cancr and methods of treating cancer. I have also worked in the biotechnology industry in Research and Development of better biological tools.
