About Joung Eun
With a strong academic background in molecular biology, hands-on teaching experience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed, I am excited about the opportunity to support Sylvan’s mission of helping students catch up, keep up, and get ahead. I hold a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics and Genomics from Seoul National University, where I also served as a teaching assistant, helping students at various academic levels grasp challenging biological concepts. My ability to break down complex information into digestible, engaging lessons has proven highly effective in one-on-one and small group settings. These experiences have sharpened my instructional skills and deepened my understanding of how to tailor teaching strategies to different learning styles. As someone with tutoring experience and a strong foundation in STEM, I am well-equipped to support Sylvan’s scripted curriculum and automated systems. I’m comfortable working with students across grade levels and am enthusiastic about helping learners build both skill and confidence in a supportive environment. Additionally, I am happy to assist with assessment proctoring and administrative support as needed. I am available during the hours listed in your posting and can start immediately. My flexible schedule allows me to commit to at least two weekday shifts as well as Saturdays, making me a strong fit for your current staffing needs. Thank you for considering my application.
