About Diane
Working through a challenging trigonometry problem feels like solving a puzzle where every piece has a specific mathematical purpose. I must confess that I prefer seeing a messy page of scratch work over a blank one because it shows your thought process. A homework module assigned with every lesson reinforces the conceptual learning we cover in the hour.
My approach is structured for exam prep students and professionals who need to maintain their technical edge. Trigonometry and algebra are the foundations for all the quantitative subjects I teach.

Holding an MSc Financial Mathematics makes me quite particular about how algebraic proofs are constructed. I have to admit that I find poorly structured solutions more distracting than wrong answers. Teaching 179 students across 12 years has refined my ability to simplify linear algebra and coordinate geometry for working professionals. My background in data science and economics ensures that math stays relevant to real world problem solving strategies.
Competition math prep requires a unique intensity that I enjoy applying to exam prep and hobbyists alike. It is a slow process of building intuition.
