About Amaya
I’m a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Physics. My primary focus is helping students explore condensed matter physics and materials science. I guide learners through complex topics like crystal structures, band theory, superconductivity, and semiconductors, always connecting them to real-world technologies. My sessions are designed to simplify abstract concepts while revealing the deep physical principles behind them. I place special emphasis on understanding the behaviour of solids and liquids at the microscopic level. My teaching approach in physics is gentle, reflective, and centred on practical scientific inquiry. I help students connect theory to hands-on experimentation in a meaningful way.
