About Frederikke
I am a music and jazz-singing-student, that offers student-priced singing lessons online. I'm well-versed in soul, jazz, musical and folk songs, and I can coach you in those styles. I've taught students for a few years, and they have all explored and expanded their singing technique, their understanding of genres, their passages between different voice registers, and have improved their pitch. NB: I don't live in the UK (I'm based in the Copenhagen Area), so I can only offer lessons over webcam. I look forward to hearing from you! Best, Frederikke

I can give lessons to beginners and intermediates who want to know how to use their voice in a more self-aware and musically gratifying way. The techniques I use in my teaching are a mixture of CVT (complete vocal technique), and something called: Fundamental voice technique, which I've learned in my studies in Malmö. It is a mix of phonetics, articulation, the muscles in the chest, the workings in the throat and the gum (anatomics), and of course the understanding of sound, support, registers and the different ways the voice is used in different genres. I offer 1 hour lessons, which consist of 15 min. body warm-up, and voice/technique-warm-up, 30-40 min of working on one or two specific songs that we decide on, and then a winding down and summation of what you've learned, and what you need to continue working on. As a tutor I attempt to be attentive and sensitive to my students' needs, and aim to create an atmosphere of enthusiasm and seriousness.
