I believe that teaching is about adapting to the individual and I make it my goal to tailor lessons to the needs of the pupil while still making lessons enjoyable. I am confident teaching people of all ages and abilities with some of my previous pupils being as young as four and as old as eighty.

Valerie is not only a diligent and conscientious teacher who consistently provides stimulating music for her pupils to learn, but she also has a knack for imparting knowledge in a clear and informal way. She is a naturally gifted teacher for both adults and children, and would be the perfect choice for anyone starting or continuing to learn to play!
Valerie is a fantastic tutor who is both patient and knowledgable at piano and singing, this comes across in her lesson plans and her approach to tuition. I Would highly recommend Valerie as a tutor and if you are looking for one in the West of Scotland there is no one better in my opinion ️️️️️
Valerie is an excellent teacher with lots of patience. I would definitely recommend lessons with her!
