My approach to music tutoring is rooted in creating a personalised and engaging learning experience for each student. I combine traditional music theory with practical, hands-on learning to develop both technical skills and musicality. I use a combination of sight-reading, ear training, and improvisation exercises to foster a well-rounded understanding of music. I adapt my teaching style to fit the needs and goals of each student, ensuring that lessons are both challenging and enjoyable.
A typical lesson lasts around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the student's level and concentration span. Each session is divided into warm-up exercises, technical drills, repertoire practice, and creative exploration, allowing students to build their skills progressively.
I hold a degree in Music Education and have over 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages, from young beginners to advanced musicians preparing for exams or performances. My lessons are suitable for students aged 5 and up, from beginners to advanced levels, whether they are pursuing music as a hobby or aiming for professional growth.
