About Tiana

Hello! My name is Tiana. I recently graduated with a master's in music at Durham University after graduating with a high 2:1 in Music at Durham. I achieved distinctions in performance diploma LTCL in singing by the age of 13, ATCL in violin by 12, and Grade 8 in Organ within 2 years of learning the instrument. Aside from winning numerous music competitions, I have performed as a soloist at Canterbury Cathedral, St John's Cathedral, HKTVB television station, and most recently at a fundraising concert for breast cancer. I am interested in teaching and sharing knowledge and am currently tutoring many children and young adults.

About the lesson

I am a flexible person and will be happy to adapt my lessons to suit your needs! In our trial session, we can identify your goals and create a tailored plan together to work towards achieving them. We will mainly work on musicality, expressions, technique, and even with sight reading. These are important skills to make sure that we sing stylishly while keeping ourselves free from negative habits. I use classical singing methods to build a solid foundation, ensuring long-term improvement and success in your singing. Learning with me will guarantee that you are achieving your fullest potential as I have had many performance experiences that I am more than happy to share! Face-to-face lessons will be 5 minutes by bus from Durham city centre (Note: please be aware that I will not be able to teach you if you have an allergy to cats). An additional fee of £20 will apply for lessons requiring travel to your location within a 1-mile radius. Looking forward to meeting you :)
