About Leonardo

I am a native Portuguese teacher with years of experience and a degree in Law from one of Brazil's most renowned federal universities. I studied Portuguese extensively to gain university admission, passing rigorous exams, and I continue to deepen my knowledge of the language to teach it as effectively as possible. I also participated in an exchange program at Disney Parks (Florida), enhancing my ability to teach Portuguese to English speakers.

I am very patient and committed to making lessons as fun and engaging as possible, using interactive and personalized methods. I simplify grammar, explaining it in a clear and intuitive way, integrating it with elements of Brazilian culture and history. I believe that learning a language should be an engaging and rewarding process.

I am constantly looking for new methods to improve my teaching and learning techniques, with courses dedicated to effective communication. The first lesson is free, allowing you to experience my methods and discuss your goals together.

About the lesson

I help students and professionals achieve their Portuguese learning goals, with a strong focus on Portuguese conversation. My lessons cover all aspects of the language: culture, grammar, reading, and writing. I use an effective review method that helps reinforce concepts in memory, ensuring concrete and lasting results.

My course is fully customizable based on the students' needs: from professionals working with Brazilian companies or clients, to those preparing to study in Brazil, or simply wanting to improve their Portuguese communication skills.

Additionally, I offer maximum flexibility for those who work, allowing lessons to be easily rescheduled and rearranged. I provide all the necessary materials (books, handouts, audio, and exercises) for free, and students have access to a virtual classroom on Google Classroom, where they will find everything they need for their learning journey.

With my lessons, learning Portuguese becomes not only useful but also fun and effective!

Deadly! I am a language tacher too, so I am quite critical. Also, I was skeptical about learning online. It turned out that Leonardo has really mastered the skill of online teaching - using a whitenoard and flashcards effectively. I was also impressed at how quickly he adapted the pace. I highly recommend him.
