About Sofia
I was born and raised in Turin, Italy although my mother is Scottish therefore I speak both languages fluently. I currently live in Glasgow, where I study Architecture and give language lessons to children, students and adults. I have taught over 30 people, ranging from small children, to high school students trying to pass their exams or IELTS, university students awaiting to take a year abroad, and adults trying to learn the language for their own profession or leisure. I have always received a positive feedback and good outcomes. I hope to achieve this with you too!

My teaching methods vary according to the students' abilities and requirements. I believe everyone has their own ways of learning, so at the end of every lesson I will ask the student to quickly provide some feedback, stating what has been most interesting and helpful and what, perhaps has not. I work both online and not, and every time I find ways to assign tasks which will be useful to exercise with and which will reveal strengths and weaknesses in a correction which will occur at the next lesson.
